About the Project
While at Bitwise Industries, I worked on the UX/UI design for Beyond Measure, a platform that connects teachers with donors to fund classroom projects. Teachers create projects on the site, explaining their needs and setting a fundraising goal. My role focused on creating an engaging and accessible visual design to support the mission of helping educators secure resources for their classrooms.
Objectives:
- Design a user-friendly interface that simplifies the process for teachers to create projects and for donors to contribute.
- Ensure clear navigation and visibility for project details, goals, and progress.
- Create a visually appealing, approachable design that reflects the organization’s mission.
Strategy:
I designed a clean, intuitive interface that emphasized ease of use for both teachers and donors. The layout organized project details in a way that was visually appealing while ensuring clear communication of each project’s goal and impact. I used warm colors and imagery to create a welcoming environment, with an emphasis on seamless navigation and accessibility.
Results:
The prototype was well-received and provided a strong visual foundation for the development team. The final site successfully captured the design’s vision, making it easy for teachers to create projects and for donors to contribute, driving engagement and support for educational initiatives.
